Our quality control department checks all steps of the production of our various taps.
Once the Research and Development department has validated a new project, in agreement with the marketing management, the first stage of a tap life begins with the production moulds conception.
Assisted by the CAM (Production Computer-Assisted) our technicians will calculate each small details so that the various machines can engrave the moulds.
Then it is necessary to manufacture the heart of the tap, called in Italian “Anima”, where the cartridge will be placed and will water circulate.
Made of sand and resin they are hot moulded and stored in large quantities.
The taps are primarily made up of brass having a very low lead content.
At the time of the cast iron the founder places the anima inside the mould and brass in fusion comes to fill open spaces in the mould in order to give the tap original form.
A first visual monitoring allow to validate the quality of production.
Then several stages of production are necessary: Steeping in a bath to remove the sand and resin residues, polishing of completion assisted by highly modern robots,
plating, chrome or special finishes.
Crucial stage of our know how, the manufacture of the ceramic cartridges is entirely automated with a production chain requesting a minimum human presence.
These various chains produces 500,000 units monthly.
Once finished the numerous elements are stored before being sent on the assembly lines. Each step of production are thoroughly controlled by our quality control department.
Finished and assembled products undergo various bench testing where our technicians controls the cartridges resistance, the aerators flow and quality, the quantity of residue
validating the after manufacturing treatments.
We obtained many international certifications such as:
IN - NF - NSF 61/9 - IAPMO (UPC) - CSAC/US
Lastly the finished taps are packed and stored in our warehouses.
In order to face the increasing request for our products and to guarantee to our customers no out-of-stock conditions we have always more than 3500 pallets of the various series ready to be delivered.
